Which course should I start first?
For the web application track, you may wish to start with HTML & CSS first before Ruby on Rails if you do not have any programming background. You may choose to start iOS Development first if you are interested in mobile application development.

I have no prior knowledge in programming, can I take this?
Yes, all the courses are tailored for non-programmers and/or beginners. In future, there will be advanced courses if you wish to take your skills further.

How often are classes offered?
Programs are offered 2 to 3 times a year depending on demand.

What's the average time commitment outside class?
If you want to get the most out of your Startup Academy experience, expect to spend 10-15 hours per week outside of web/mobile development, and 3-5 hours per week outside of web design.

Can I do both Development and Design programs?
Yes. However, we don't encourage students to take on more than they can allocate time for. Both classes are intensive and we'd rather you focus on one or the other.

Am I guaranteed a place after signing up?
Your application form will be reviewed after signing up. Once you are accepted, you will receive email on payment details. Your seat is confirmed only upon receipt of your payment.
